街の中心にある古い教会。
木の扉をくぐって入ると木の長椅子が並ぶ大きな空間、ひんやりした空気。
ステンドグラスから落ちる光が美しい静かな場所が
日曜日は家族でお祈りに訪れてワイワイと賑やかに。
子供達は帰りにお菓子を買ってもらえるのが一番の楽しみです。

やっぱり人々が集う広場の真ん中が似合う気がしますが
ポツンと街から離れた場所に建つ教会もよいですね。


It is an old church in the center of town.
When you bow your head to enter through the wooden door,
you walk into a large space with rows of long wooden benches, where it is cool inside.
The serene and peaceful space is provided by the light drizzling in through the stained-glass windows,
which on Sundays, becomes animated with families gathering to pray.
The little ones look forward to the treats their parents would get them on the way home.

It will probably sit well in the middle of the square, but it would be nice if the church stood on its own a little ways away from the town.
